Features include WWII GI style high strength rubber soles and heel, high strength steel shanks, genuine Goodyear leather Welts, Top grain leather in the authentic colors (Smooth in/Rough out on Reverse Upper boots.), and top grain leather mid-soles (except for our jumper boots). Our Reverse-Upper leather is fully struck-through dyed leather, not spray dyed on the surface. We currently sell boots in sizes listed in the pull-down menus of the product pages. Please note that despite our best efforts to fit customers accurately from the beginning some will invariably experience multiple exchanges in order to arrive at the perfect fit. This is to be expected in a mail order format. Customers are invited to make an appointment to come into our showroom for trials. When in doubt about which size to order you can always select any size which is close, then provide length and width measurements in centimeters or inches of both your feet in the comments section of the shopping cart checkout and we can fit you accordingly.
Why waste your money on foreign made shoes with incorrect patterns, shapes, profiles, components, and materials. We have many loyal customers who have made the claim that they are still wearing the boots they bought from us 8-10 years ago with only a couple of new soles. One significant difference with our boots is the last. The last is the rigid foot-shaped form used to mold the shoe around during the course of production. Our boots are produced by the Corcoran factory right here in the USA (Yes the Corcoran brand still exists and made for the U.S. military!). We are the only retailer offering our vast selection of WWII reproduction footwear using the copyrighted genuine WWII spec Army Munson last. Though the Army contracted to have jump boots made by various suppliers, Corcoran was by far the most widely known brand of them all using the distinct Munson styling. Anyone else saying that they use the correct last for their boots is lying since the Munson last is a copyrighted design.
