Trousers, Dress, Regulation, Officer's, Dark Shade Elastique
These high quality trousers are new made from 45% wool/55% polyester blend elastique fabric in the correct OD #51 (Chocolate) Dark shade. They were worn by male officers both in Class A dress occasions as well as in the field with their combat uniform. This practice was more common during the early stages of WWII. By mid 1944 most officer's wore the Serge OD shade wool shirts and trousers with their combat uniform. Details include two rear scalloped pocket flaps with matching dark shade buttons, watch/coin pocket, side opening front pockets, button fly, and non-slip inner waist band. These are UNFINISHED at the leg bottom and require hemming, but are generally long enough for most inseam lengths. Quantities and sizes are limited.
